London, England ? 19th July 2011 ? Jodie Welton, partner and co-founder at global PR agency Connected PR, has been selected to be included in the Young Business Leaders 2011 publication, part of the Who?s Who of Britain?s Business Elite based on her business achievements with Connected PR.
Of the 620,178 directors in the UK aged 35 or under, less than 3% have been chosen to be included in this publication.? In it are individuals who direct and manage a wide variety of successful businesses in the UK, and it aims to recognise young members of the business community who have achieved notable success. In today?s competitive market and testing economic conditions, it is no mean feat to be identified amongst such an elite group.
Awarded the Shell Entrepreneur of the Year award at just 25 years old, Jodie has always attracted attention for her independent thinking and alternative approach. After achieving her degree and post graduate qualification (Cambridge Academy) in Marketing, Jodie went on to work as a PR consultant, both on client and agency side for a wide range of brands such as Altec Lansing, The RNLI, Organix, BT, Twenga and Wyke Farms.
In 2003, Jodie founded Connected PR, an independent global PR agency, together with her sister Paris, which has grown from a labour of love into a global operation with an international network spanning Europe with offices in France.
