For as long as I can remember some of the nicest children?s clothes I?ve seen were from The Children?s Place.

MY THOUGHTS
Shopping for my youngest gets harder and harder. He?s 12 now but still tiny ? he?s a size 10/12. My son has Down Syndrome and is developmentally delayed, so many of his interests are for things intended for younger children. His favorite clothes have characters like Thomas the Train on them. The problem is that most of those clothes aren?t available in his size any more. And if they were there?s the question of if I?d be dressing him too young. Move to his size clothes and suddenly things are ?very boyish? with things he isn?t into or just plain and yucky. When I browsed The Children?s Place website I was pleased to find that they had clothes that would fit him that weren?t too young or too old for him, they were just nice looking clothes. Plus, what really excited me is that they carried nice looking shorts with elastic waists! We?re still working on the potty thing so I try to keep my son in pants that are easy to get down so the buttons and zippers don?t hold him up if he?s gotta go. For a year now he?s worn mostly athletic pants because jeans and pants in his size all have buttons and zippers. The look gets old after a while.
In the end I chose some pieces that made some really cute outfits. Here he is, modeling his new clothes.
The clothes were all very well made and the colors bright. We?ve washed all of the pieces a good number of times now and the clothing washed very well, nothing faded or came apart. And, it was great to see him in bottoms other than athletic bottoms!
I am super pleased with the clothing we got from The Children?s Place. Their quality is excellent. Their pricing is reasonable and they have a large sale section at times as well. I highly recommend The Children?s Place. They carry sizes from newborn to size 14. Since my son is only in sizes 10/12 now I?m planning on shopping with them again.
This summer The Children?s Place is featuring lots of fun, new items in beachy looks and colors. The Children?s Place website has some specialty shops included, some of the really neat ones are the Hello Kitty shop, the Baby Shower shop, and the Christening shop.
