"I'm a little frightened of the show," Depp told "Extra" about the show starring 7-year-old beauty pageant contestant Alana Thompson and her self-proclaimed redneck family. "That's the thing . . . they're probably great people, but there are bits that happen that just I am mesmerized by."
But he added, "I mean, yeah, I guess I could be called a fan."

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Depp confessed he spends his free time watching the "trashiest television imaginable" -- and he may have more time for in the future.
"I can't say that I'd want to be doing this for another 10 years," Depp said of his acting career, adding that he considers retiring "every day."

"I think while I've got the opportunity and the desire and the creative spark to do the things that I can do right now, I should do them," he explained. "And then, at a certain point, just take it down to the bare minimum and concentrate on, I guess, living life. Really living life. And going somewhere where you don't have to be on the run, or sneak in through the kitchen or the underground labyrinth of the hotel. At a certain point, when you get old enough or get a few brain cells back, you realize that, on some level, you lived a life of a fugitive."
