Role description:

The primary objective of the role is to support the existing NBN Co and Telstra account teams and identify, develop and support new communications products business by working with network providers, specifiers, contractors and channel partners.

This includes:

• Developing sales plans and achievement of sales targets
• Develop, maintain and build on relationships with specifiers and channel partners
• Sell through and sell with partners
• Enablement of the channel and providing industry and product training
• Develop understanding of competitor products and strategies

Skills and experience required:

• Relevant telecommunications qualifications or a technical understanding and exposure to fibre optic, copper and wireless networks (this could include experience as a network designer or a linesman)
• A consistent record of sales growth in the B2B telecommunications sector
• Experience in developing and selling to and through distribution channels, and experience in introducing new products.
• Demonstrable key account management skills
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with key communication network product influencers, specifiers, end users and distributors.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
