Colorado closes program that helps families pay for college

DENVER ? The changing economy and the federal government changing interest rates

College Invest ends pre-paid tuition program that allowed families to invest in college for the future at today?s prices.

College tuition rates are rising too fast for the program to stay alive.

The CEO of the fund advises that now, more than ever, families need to save as much as possible as early as possible for college educations in the future.
