As the largest crystalline silicon photovoltaic solar module manufacturer in the world, Suntech is a rapidly growing organization. We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Credit and Collections to work in our San Francisco, California headquarters.

This position is located in San Francisco, reports to the Regional CFO of America. This key role will be responsible for all aspects of receivables management, issuance of credit, collection activities, reducing DSO and improving cash flow.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:

? Provide leadership, strategic direction and operational oversight to the regional credit and collections organization
? Implement an effective and sustainable organizational operating mechanism that delivers continuous improvement to credit fundamentals ? processes, tools, controls, resources, analytics, reporting and results
? Provide leadership in managing and implementing credit technology, credit know-how, data management and analytics, process standardization and automation, and risk assessment
? Develop and deploy regional best practices and comply with corporate global credit policy
? Work closely with Corporate Credit group, Corporate Finance group, business leaders and regional CFO to ensure alignment with key business strategies, operating plans, annual business goals and financial commitments
? Liaison with business and finance groups to resolve critical credit-related business issues
? Provide technical expertise and guidance to credit and finance teams ? e.g. minimize risk and disruption when expanding into new emerging markets; properly construct specialized or non-standard credit arrangements
? Design and implement a receivable monitoring system that minimizes regional credit exposure and concentrations of credit risk
? Ensure best practices and consistency are applied across credit & collection organization ? (risk, collections, cash applications)
? Cross functional alignment and collaboration to drive working capital improvement

Minimum Requirements:

? Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or economics required
? 15+years of direct credit experience with both bank and corporate environment required
? Progressive finance, accounts receivable and collection experiences in a global manufacturing environment preferred
? Prior experience as a Corporate or Regional Credit Director preferred
? Ability to apply intuition, experience and judgment to make sound business decisions
? Ability to drive process improvement and manage competing priorities
? Proven leadership skills and talent development
? Effective written and verbal communication skills
? Strong business acumen. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
? Attentive to detail but able to see the larger picture
? Results oriented. Able to lead and effect change
